Seattle Pony Party is a dream come true for owner Eric Johnson and
his daugher Kierney.

Eric and Applesauce
Eric Johnson, PhD, left a science research career in the field of physics and oceanography to pursue a life outside
of the office. He dreamed of incorporating his love of animals, the outdoors and children's giggle and smiles into
one package. Seattle Pony Party is the manifestation of that dream.
After the devastating loss of one of his daughters to cancer in '97 Eric would love to have Seattle Pony
Party, not only bring remarkable memories and joy into the lives of those we touch, but to create a way for the
ponies to raise money for children less fortunate. That is why when you buy a Seattle Pony Party event we give
a percentage of our profits to a charitable organization that assist kids in need.
Eric and the team at Seattle Pony Party, and let's not forget the Ponies, look forward to being
part of fulfilling your children's dream come true.
Meet the Ponies
Annie
Annie is a 10-year-old white and silver pinto mare. She was trained as a riding pony at age three, then
became a party leading pony at age four. Our most experienced party pony, Annie is solid and dependable in
any situation. She is also one of our more affectionate ponies, loving to be brushed and even cuddled by
those she trusts. A true lady in all regards, Annie is the pony who trains our apprentice-handlers.
Annie and Ethne

Toby
Toby is a 10-year-old tri-colored pinto gelding. He is trained as a leading, riding, and
driving pony. The self-appointed protector of our pony herd, Toby is a perfectly polite at the parties but
has more of a gentleman's reserve toward being brushed or hugged. He is willing to stand and have pictures
taken, but treat-time is his definite favorite.

Biscuit
Biscuit is a smaller 12-year old dappled gray mare. She began as a family riding pony for
four years, then joined the party business. She is intelligent and curious, and one of the first to come over
and see what's happening. She is also very good at manipulating latches, snaps, and other hardware that is
supposed to keep ponies in their pastures. She is our ultimate trustworthy pony, and can even
be led by small children.

Spike
Spike is a seven-year-old gray/black Appaloosa-colored gelding who began as a riding pony and
switched to lead rides at parties two years ago. He is a quiet and friendly pony who likes calm, gentle
brushing and petting. Suitable for our smallest riders, Spike is small, steady and slooowwww...
Spike and his special friend

Applesauce
Applesauce is a larger 4-year-old bay mare. Our pony-in-training, Applesauce is still learning the ropes in
the party business.

Henry
Henry is a large, fluffy pinto gelding bearing the faint resemblance of a giant hamster.
Sturdy and dependable, Henry's steady gait reflects his 18 years of experience, and he's large enough to carry
smaller adults. Trained as a riding pony as well, Henry and his owner/handler Stephanie Castner give
beginner's riding lessons.
